Rigaku System

Description: Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Applied Rigaku Technologies Inc.  9825 Spectrum Drive Suite 475 Austin, TX 78717.   The requirement is provide the system one Rigaku NEX-CG EDXRF System and optional associated equipment for forensic casework. This instrument is needed for lifecycle replacement of an existing instrument and ensure continuity of operations.The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c) (1), Only One Responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued.
