REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) Services and SupportTHIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) to identify sources who can provide maintenance support, technical services, testing, evaluation, training, and/or development activities for the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) application that supports the Nuclear Enterprise Contingency Operations Department’s various detector systems.This RFI is for market research purposes only and is to obtain feedback from industry on the best strategy for meeting our requirement. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Unsolicited proposals will not be accepted. Interested parties are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs
associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense.DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTSThe attached Statement of Work prescribes the efforts necessary to successfully support TAK Services and Support requirements for DTRA. WHITE PAPER SUBMISSIONInterested parties are requested to respond to this RFI with a white paper. Responses should be submitted in size 12-point font, single spacing and 1” margins, and shall not exceed a total of 10 pages, not including cover page, cover letter or table of contents or the brief description of the interested parties’ capabilities. The white paper shall include the following:Cover Page - Interested parties shall include the following:Name, mailing address, DUNS number, phone number and e-mail of designated point of contact.Identification of subcontractor partnerships on the DTRA Agency-wide Information Technology Support Services Multiple Award Contract. Include subcontractor(s) Name, mailing address, DUNS number.Business size based upon North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541511.A brief description of the interested parties’ capabilities. Questions for consideration (industry may answer any or all in their response).1) What experience do you have in the TAK Environment2) Have you created/maintained any TAK plugins?3) Have you provided maintenance/support for a TAK plugin that you did not create?4) What strategy would you employ to ensure you are able to provide support, to an operational plugin, during the learning curve phase?5) What experience do you have with CBRN sensors/detectors?6) Have integrated data from a secondary device into a TAK plugin?SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONSAny proprietary concepts or information should be clearly identified and marked. For all RFI responses, do not include any proprietary information on the cover page. Responses shall be received via e-mail as one electronic submission in Adobe PDF format with the subject line “Source Sought - DTRA TAK Services and Support (Company’s Name).” Submissions shall be submitted to
