The Contractor is to consult with a Valley Water Project Manager on all painting and coating projects to identify existing coatings, provide methods for best surface preparation, and perform lead testing and abatement by certified personnel. The Contractor shall provide methods of containment, abatement, and disposal of old paint and/or coating material during surface preparation. The Contractor is to provide new painting and/or coating applications method according to Valley Water standards. All equipment needed to perform this work will be provided and operated by the Contractor.
