THIS IS A SOLE-SOURCE REQUIREMENT.The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a one-time, sole-source, firm-fixed price contract to Dive Lab, Inc., 1415 Moylan Road, Panama City Beach, Florida, 32407-4069. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s SAM.gov website (www.sam.gov). Marine Lifesaving and Diving EquipmentThe FBI intends to acquire from Dive Lab, Inc., a quantity of eight (8), 300-foot XLDS Umbilical Assembly 2XL00 specific parts. This is a direct replacement part for an existing system that has been utilized by the FBI for over ten (10) years. The replacement umbilical must be compatible with the existing XLDS dive equipment. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by March 29th, 2024, at 1:00 PM, (EST). Emailed responses only will be considered. No phone calls. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses shall include the firm’s Unique Entity ID (UEI) number and their Business Size. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
