Leachate Collection System Cleaning and Inspection at the Waterloo and Cambridge Landfill Sites

The work at the Waterloo Landfill Site comprises the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials necessary for the cleaning (flushing) of the Leachate Collection System (LCS), and power washing and vacuuming of five leachate pump stations. Video inspection of the LCS is a provisional item. The LCS at the Waterloo Landfill Site has been modified since the previous tender, including modifications at Pump Station 3 to include three tanks to be cleaned, and updates at Temporary Pump Station 4B to include new HDPE vacuum piping and one pump. Modifications have also been made to include cleaning of additional segments. B. The work at the Cambridge Landfill Site comprises the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials necessary for the cleaning (flushing) of the LCS, and power washing and vacuuming of two pump stations, two stormwater treatment chambers, one decanting manhole, one sewage manhole, one wastewater holding tank, two transfer station manholes, and one provisional stormwater treatment chamber.
