Temporary Pharmacist Services

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Pekin) is making a sole source award to Soliant Physician Staffing Inc. to fulfill an immediate need for a temporary pharmacist to provide pharmacy services to the inmate population at FCI Pekin.  This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-3(b)(3) - only one source was solicited due to the urgency of the need, and the acquistion does not exceed the simplified acquistion threshold. The NAICS code is 621399. This is a firm fixed price requirements contract that shall cover up to 120, 8 hour work days, for a maximum of 960, 1 hour sessions beginning on August 15, 2022 and ending after that quantity has been exhausted in accordance with BPAP 37.112-70(d).  At that time the requirement will be reevaluated to determine if an option period of 120 additional days will need to be exercised to meet the needs of the institution if FCI Pekin remains without a staff pharmacist.  Firms that believe they can meet FCI Pekin's needs for a temporary pharmacist may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by October 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM CST.  Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and show how competition would be advantageous the the Government.  Information received will will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.  If no responses are received, the Government will proceed to exercise the option for 120 additional days of services from Soliant Physician Staffing.  Responses will be e-mailed to Gary M.
