Unusual and Compelling Urgency Award Notice - Fire Alarm System

This is a special notice to inform the public that the Air Force Test Center Edwards AFB issued a contract to Universal Electronic Alarms Inc. on 14 March 2023 for $25,366.99 in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) “Unusual and Compelling Urgency” conditions under contract number FA9301-23-P-0016. Prompt Fire Alarm repairs were necessary to mitigate risk to life, safety, and critical Air Force property. Delaying the award of the contract could result in serious injury, financial or other, to the Government. This synopsis is not a Request for Quotation or Proposal. A solicitation document will not be made available for this notice, nor will proposals or quotes be accepted. For additional information, see attached Single Source Justification.
