ATMS Maintenance and Enhancements

The Selected Offeror shall maintain, support and develop enhancements for the existing Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS), Lane Reservation System, and Connected Vehicle Data Exchange, ensuring the continued functionality, security, and effectiveness of the systems and licenses while incorporating enhancements to meet evolving transportation needs. ATMS is a mission critical system, managed by PennDOT’s Traffic System and Performance Unit, which operates 24/7/365 and provides command and control of PennDOT's network of traffic cameras, messages, and other devices used by PennDOT's Traffic Management Centers to monitor and respond to traffic incidents and other events while also providing real time traffic data to the traveling public through services such as 511PA.
