The purpose of this IFB is to obtain psychophysiological assessment services from qualified bidders. Bidders shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, insurance and personnel to provide on-site psychophysiological assessment services on an as-needed basis; to assist the medical staff at DSH-Patton in providing the highest quality of medical care reasonable and consistent with available resources; and to assure that appropriate clinical evaluations and documentation meet the requirements and standards set forth by Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations regarding community care licensing, the Joint Commission, and the Department of Justice. A. Contractor shall provide the following on-site psychophysiological assessments of DSH patients when referred by DSH Treatment Team: i. Penile Plethysmography (PPG) ¿ measurement of blood flow to the penis, typically used as a proxy for measurement of sexual arousal. ii. Abel Assessment of Sexual Interest 2 (AASI-2) a complex assessment used to evaluate sexual behavior problems. iii. Clinical Polygraph Examinations ¿ procedure that measures and records several psychological indicators such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and skin conductivity while a person is asked and answers a series of
