River Information Services Enterprise

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office intends to issue a contract to Trabus, 3547 Camino Del Rio South, Suite A, San Diego, CA 92108-4024 to provide support for a River Information Services Enterprise (RISE) demonstration and user input collection in conjunction with the Smart Rivers Conference in Pittsburgh, PA; investigate requirements for integration into existing systems, document requirements, and initiate prototype integration.The proposed contractor has worked in this area for over five years, including joint projects with the other government agencies, local government, and the navigation industry. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541712 Research and Development in Biotechnology with a Small

Business Size Standard of 1,000 Employees.This notice is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. A solicitation will not be issued. However, the Government will consider all responsible sources received by the closing date specified in this notice. The information submitted must be provided in sufficient detail to demonstrate the vendor's ability to fulfill this requirement. The contractor must also provide a description of their past experience in fulfilling requirements which are the same or similar to this requirement and references for each.Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
