The purpose of the ITB is to establish a Contract for a Contract for the Paving Improvements at Prineville Reservoir State Park located at 19020 SE Parkland Drive, Prineville, OR 97754 for the benefit of Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. The Work contemplated under this Contract includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and services for, and incidental to, the completion of all construction Work in connection with the project described in the Contract Documents.
PREBID CONFERENCE: No pre-bid conference will be held; however, all prospective Offerors are encouraged to become familiar with the project site by making a visit to the project location.

All requests must be in writing, mailed, faxed, emailed or hand delivered on or before this time and date. All prospective Offerors should read thoroughly all solicitation documents prior to requesting clarification.

- Prineville State Park is currently closed for access due to COVID-19 restrictions. Contractors are also restricted for onsite visits until this closure is lifted or until further notice. - OPRD will allow Contractor site access before this bid opportunity closes. - The bid deadline at this point is an estimated date and may be extended to allow Contractors time for site investigation and submittal of questions and clarifications. - All changes will be communicated by Addenda. See Section C.1.4.1. - No one site work will be allowed May 21st to May 26th for the Memorial Weekend.

LIQUIDATED DAMAGES:
Liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day will apply to the contract resulting from this ITB. (See Exhibit 5 for detailed information)

TOBACCO FREE PROPERTIES: Offerors need to be aware that Executive Order 12-13 established statewide policy that properties wholly owned or leased by the State of Oregon shall be tobacco free. If Offeror is selected for contract award, Offeror, and its employees, agents and subcontractors will be expected to comply with established smoking restrictions while performing services on State property.
