PUBLIC NOTICE ADL 106201Inside Passage Electrical CooperativeFebruary 8 th, 2023 Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land and Water, Southeast Regional Land Office has received an application for the following: APPLICANT: Inside Passage Electric Cooperative PROJECT NAME: ADL 106201 GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Haines, Alaska; more specifically off the Haines Highway at 10-Mile. The penstock and related structures are located at 10-Mile next to an unnamed stream that flows into the Chilkat River.PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: CRM030S058E08 Metes and bounds description within Section 8, Township 30 south, Range 58 east, Copper River Meridian, containing approximately 1.00 acres.REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Inside Passage Electric Cooperative is requesting the extension for the existing private exclusive easement. Construction of the hydroelectric penstock and associated support structures was completed in 2000. The extension of the existing private exclusive easement

is to maintain the right of way to operate the existing penstock. The site is accessed via footpath up the mountainside, with vehicle access blocked by rugged terrain.REQUESTED TERM: 25 years DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: March 10th, 2023 The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity.
