Scope of Work: 
Scope includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all materials, equipment, services and incidentals for the Emergency Rental of Trucks and Heavy Equipment during a disaster or declared emergency for the Fleet Services Division and various other Broward County agencies that may have a need for these services and products. 



Goal Participation:  
This solicitation is open to the general marketplace.



United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA):
 
In accordance to the Special Instructions to Vendor, please refer to the attached additional terms and conditions applicable this

solicitation as required by the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).  Bidders should complete and submit the Exhibits within the FEMA USDHS Supplement with their bid responses.



Basis of Award - Multiple Awards Per Group:
 It is the intent to award this contract to all responsive, responsible bidders per group; however, per Paragraph 10 of the General Terms and Conditions, the County reserves the right to award as deemed in its best interest.



Questions and Answers:
The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through BidSync by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda).  The County will respond to all questions via BidSync.

Vendor MUST submit its solicitation response electronically and MUST confirm its submittal in order for the County to receive a valid response through BidSync. Refer to the
Purchasing Division website
or contact BidSync for submittal instructions. It is the Vendor’s sole responsibility to assure its response is submitted and received through BidSync by the date and time specified in the solicitation. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means.
Vendors are encouraged to submit their responses in advance of the due date and time specified in the solicitation document. In the event that the Vendor is having difficulty submitting the solicitation document through BidSync, immediately notify the Purchasing Agent and then contact BidSync for technical assistance.
