Request for Information (RFI): The Hawaii State Department of Health requests information and feedback that will assist in developing an RFP to procure HIV, hepatitis, and sexually transmitted infection (STI) integrated care and prevention services for: HIV-infected individuals and their at-risk partners, men who have sex with men and are at risk for transmitting or contracting HIV in Hawaii County, Maui County, Kauai County and Honolulu County.
Solicitation Description
Services shall be provided to individuals living with diagnosed HIV as well as those who have not been diagnosed with HIV.
Prior to issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for these services, the Hawaii

Department of Health, Communicable Disease & Public Health Nursing Division, Harm Reduction Services Branch is seeking through this RFI, expressions of interest and comments on the planned services. Available funding of approximately $2.2m is anticipated statewide.

The contract term will be for a two-year period from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2025, with the option to extend up to four additional twelve-month periods, ending no later June 30, 2029. The initial period shall commence on the contract start date (July 1, 2023) or the date of State’s Notice to Proceed, whichever is later.
Participation in the request for information is optional and is not required to respond to any subsequent procurement. Neither the purchasing agency nor the interested party has any obligation under the request for information.
