The Contractor will work with the Airport Staff and Design-Builder to develop a refined scope of work for the Project that aligns with the overall Project goals and budget. The existing building management system within the Airport Terminals is controlled by multiple,
segmented HVAC, lighting, and utility systems (gas, water, and electricity) that are either past their useful life, or have with limited control, monitoring, tenant billing, and energy management capabilities. In order to provide a system that satisfies the current and future needs of SFO, the building management system must be upgraded to a comprehensive, high speed, reliable, intuitive, and interconnected EMCS that can support SFO goals for Operations, Maintenance, Sustainability, and Net Zero Energy.
