NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, RPO West - Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS), intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, PESI, Inc. The statutory authority for restricting competition under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Single Source, commercial item acquisitions not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), currently $250,000, is 41 U.S.C. 1903, as implemented by FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. PESI, Inc. will provide continuing education and training for staff in Community Engagement Reintegration Service (CERS) Programs. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611430 with a size standard of $12.0M. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the point of contact no later than 2:00 P.M., (PST) on July 13, 2022 to the Contracting Officer, Ben Bayoneta at benjumar.bayoneta@va.gov.
