Resurfacing

Sealed bids for the Resurfacing and Striping will be received until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2021, at the office of the Thomas County Board of Commissioners, 116 West Jefferson Street, 2nd Floor, Room #220, Thomasville, GA 31792, or mailed to P.O. Box 920 Thomasville, GA. 31799, each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to Alicia Wiese, Purchasing Agent and marked as follows: Bid for “Resurfacing”. Bids received after this time will not be considered. The Bid documents can be requested by emailing Alicia Wiese at alicia.wiese@thomascountyga.gov. Bonds: All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Contractor License: Any contractor submitting a bid must be a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor. Scope of Work: Furnish all materials, labor, and equipment to resurface approximately 25.27 miles on Bulloch Road (bet GA 3 and Lee White), Myrick Road (bet US 19 and Shauna Road), Rook Road, McMillan Road (bet GA 3 and Grady Co Line), Salem Road (bet SR 122 and SR 33), Enon Road, Reichertville Road (bet Twelve Mile Post and Boston Monticello), and Powell Drive, including traffic control and striping to Georgia DOT standards. Minimum Requirements: The contractor shall furnish the following: all materials, labor, equipment and services necessary to perform the job.
