Second St. Clayton, NC 27520 until May 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.The Project includes the following Work:23 kV URD cable installation in existing ductbank, installation of 3-phase padmounted transformers, installation of 3-phase junction enclosures, termination of cables, testing of cables.The Project has an

expected duration of less than 60 days.Obtaining the Bidding DocumentsThe Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Town of Clayton Engineering111 E. Second St. Clayton, NC 27520 Attn. Mr. Ethan PoppeThe Town will not be using a third party plan room for the bidding documents.The project will be advertised on the North Carolina Electronic Vendor Portal (eVP). The eVP website is https://evp.nc.gov/. From the Home page you can navigate through: browse solicitations > filters > department > Town of Clayton > apply. You can scroll down to find the project. Basic advertisement information and a link to the Town’s bidding opportunities page will be displayed. The Town’s bidding opportunities page (or Clayton Plan Room) will allow download of project documents. This page can be accessed directly at https://www.townofclaytonnc.org/Bids.aspx. All bidders will be required to register as plan holders at the designated site. The designated website may be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project.
