Whitakers Business and Industry Center (WBIC) located near Rocky Mount is mostly developed with the exception of one +/- 50-acre tract and the Middlesex Corporate Centre (MCC) located in the southern part of Nah County is primarily undeveloped at present. Nash County owns more than 350 acres of undeveloped property across both locations and the county is currently experiencing significant interest in industrial development sites. In order to better market these sites to industrial development prospects, to accelerate the development process, and to capitalize on the anticipated value of this timber, the county is interested in engaging the services of a consultant to assist the county in marketing the sale of this timber.
