Purchase of Hydrated Lime Reissue

Clean Water Services (District) wishes to purchase hydrated lime in bulk quantities under a twelve-month contract that will begin on July 1, 2021. Interested vendors must submit bids. All bids must be submitted to Heidi Blasingame, Procurement Coordinator, by Thursday, May 27, 2021 10:00 a.m., local time via Equity Hub's Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/1920_Itb___Purchase_Of_Hydrated_Lime_Reissue Facsimile or emailed bids will not be accepted. Before Bidders can submit their bids, they will need to register with Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/Home/bidlockerus.

There is no cost to register. Late bids will not be considered for award. District will enter into a separate contract for hauling the hydrated lime from the Bidder's location to District's facilities. For that reason, District will only consider bids from Bidders that will supply the lime from a location in Clark County, Washington, or Multnomah, Clackamas or Washington Counties in Oregon. The Contract for purchase of Hydrated Lime wil
l be awarded to the Bidder with the lowest total cost for a set quantity of hydrated lime. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by telephone conference at 10:00 a.m. local time on May 27, 2021. Bidders can attend the opening by calling the telephone conference number (503) 681-4498. Copies of the Invitation to Bid (ITB) can be downloaded from the District's website at
http://bids.cleanwaterservices.org (Website) under the name of the procurement. You will need to submit a valid email address to receive instructions on downloading a copy of the ITB. Your email address will be saved in the District's Bid Holders List and your email will be used to send you automatic notifications when District posts a new document or changes information related to this ITB. Vendors are responsible for obtaining any Addenda by using the link provided in the automatic email or from District's Website. If you experience problems downloading the
ITB, please contact Ms. Blasingame at (503) 681-4458. Bidders need not be licensed under ORS 468A.710 (regarding licensing of contractors on projects involving asbestos abatement). District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any bid upon a finding by District that it is in the public interest to do so.
