Fire & Emergency Services Equipment Small Business Manufacturers

***Revised Sources Sought Spreadsheet added as an attachment.- "Bolded" Items at bottom are additional items that have been added.The Defense Logistics Agency is the Department of Defense's largest logistics combat support agency, providing worldwide logistics support in both peacetime and wartime to the military services.  This sources sought is a market research tool being utilized for informational and planning purposes. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of potential US Small Business manufacturing sources who can provide Fire & Emergency Services Equipment Items.  DLA Troop Support is seeking small business manufacturers for the various items on the attached Worksheet.  Small business manufacturers are encouraged to submit a statement of their capabilities (Capability Statement) and identify the products that could meet the requirements in the attached Worksheet.  The Capability Statement shall not exceed three pages and include the following

information: company name, business size, cage code, address, point of contact, email address, and phone number.  All responses must also include the attached Worksheet and identify the items where the vendor could be a small business manufacturing source.  Responses must be submitted by email to Walter Mikolajewski at Walter.Mikolajewski@dla.mil and Tyler Barner at Tyler.Barner@dla.mil by 3:00 PM EST May 11, 2021 and include in the subject field the title “Sources Sought Fire & Emergency Services Equipment Small Business Manufacturer.”       The item being offered must be equal to the item specified in the attached Worksheet.  The item must have the same form, fit, and function.  All responses must provide the small business manufacturer name, manufacturer’s part number, manufacturer’s description, unit price, and monthly production capacity in the attached Worksheet for each item where the vendor may be a small business manufacturing source.  The vendor shall furnish with its offer legible copies of all drawings, specifications, or other data necessary to clearly describe the characteristics and features of the product being offered as well as a link to a website (if available) to locate and identify the item being provided.  Vendors do not have to manufacture every item on the list.   This notice shall not be construed as a RFP or as any commitment or obligation on the part of the Government.  No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.  Response is strictly voluntary - it is not mandatory to submit a response to this notice to participate in any RFP process that may take place in the future.  This is strictly market research.  Respondents will not be notified of the results of the Sources Sought.  We appreciate your interest and thank you in advance for responding to the Sources Sought.
