Scope includes stone base, paving, erosion and sediment control, and related site preparation for approximately 1100 lineal feet of existing road and parking area for the Wildwood Rehabilitation Center. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package clearly marked “Bid for Chip Mill Road and Wildwood Rehabilitation Center Paving Improvements Project.” Sealed bids will be received at the Dickenson County Board of Supervisors located at 818 Happy Valley Drive, Suite 105, Clintwood, Virginia 24228 before 2:00 PM on Monday, March 25, 2024. Bids will be

opened and publicly read on March 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM. No Pre-Bid Conference will be held. Bidders must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia. A bid bond in the amount of 5% is required. The Contractor, in performance of this contract, shall comply with all applicable Equal Opportunity requirements. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders must certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin.
