NUMBER: PT2442 Nature of Work/Contract Title: It is the goal of this solicitation to identify and contract with parties with land surveying expertise to work for the DNR to facilitate land acquisition, land development and land administration services. Description of Work: The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking to enter into master contracts with qualified firms to provide professional land surveying services on an “as needed” basis.The Contractor will be hired to perform one or more of these tasks:To establish and/or perpetuate corners of the Public Land Survey System (PLSS). Tasks include: performing all necessary research, thorough search for field evidence, excavations and Certification of PLSS corner as required by state law. To survey and monument state property boundaries. To identify possible title or possession conflicts resulting from: trespass, gaps, overlaps, etc. To perform topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, scanning with total station, or photogrammetric control survey. To draft Certificate of Survey, Surveyor’s Report, Certificate of Location of Government Corner and other documents according to DNR standards. To produce deliverables including but not limited to: pdf of Certificate of Survey, Surveyor’s Report, ESRI shape files, etc. Other miscellaneous work incidental to the land surveying professions.
