Branson Creek Water Main Replacement Along Raeford Road

\n\nPursuant to N.C.G.S 143-129, sealed bids are solicited and will be received at Fayetteville Public\nWorks Commission, Administration Building, Skills Lab, 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville,\n\nNC 28301, until 1:30 p.m., EST Thursday, April 4, 2024, at which time they will be publiciy\nopened and read.\n\nThis project is necessary to eliminate conflicts with the proposed Branson Creek Culvert\nReplacement Project (BP 6.R 006) along R aeford R oad near the intersection of Lakeshore Drive.\nThe existing 6-inch cast iron water main conflicts with construction of the proposed culvert and\napproximately 300 LF willneed to be relocated outside ofthe pavement. The proposed relocation\nconsists of approximately 290LF of 8-inch fusible PVC installed via directional drilling and\napproximately 60 LF of 8-inch DI reduced to 6-inch DI by open cutto connectto the existing water\nmain. Water main improvements must be completed by December 2024 (FY25) to align with the\nNCDOT BP6.R 006
