The City’s usage of the consultants’ services will be on as-needed basis so if the demand is not there, then the services will not be requested. For each on-call service request, the consultant and the City will agree upon the specific scope of work and cost for that project. The City has the right to retain other consulting firms in its sole discretion when the City believes there will be an economic or other significant advantage for doing so.
Due to the nature of the information requested, all submissions shall be in written format. 1.11 HOW TO DO BUSINESS: Knox County utilizes a web-based Procurement software system, “KnoxBuys.” The system provides our clients (vendors, county departments and the citizens of Knox County) with a more enhanced and end-user friendly means of accessing our services.
