The Government intends to issue a sole source order to the sole authorized reseller of MasterCam products for Bremerton, WA, MLC CAD Systems, LLC. Brand-name, commercial, proprietary MasterCam software is required for Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNSY) & Intermediate Maintenance Facility. The period of performance is January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. The redacted Software Class J&A is posted.

Subscription support will include technical support and software updates for Mastercam Mill 3D Licenses and Mastercam Lathe Licenses.  Mastercam software is designed and developed by CNC Software Inc. and resold through Cimquest.  Cimquest is privately held. The Government intends to acquire this service under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures and FAR Part 12, Commercial Items.

William Cannon Dr., Bldg. 5, Austin, TX 78749-2341, as the only responsible source that can provide MasterCam Software for the Vicksburg, MS area.This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 511210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $38,500,000.00.

Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for MasterCAM software update and annual maintenance and support plan for one (1) base year and four (4) option years.This solicitation is a small business set-aside.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. 

Synopsis:NASA/NSSC has a requirement for MASTERCAM SOFTWARE RENEWAL.NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to CIMQUEST under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that CIMQUEST is the supplier of the software that requires a renewal.NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.
