Eligible Applicants: Each School Food Authority (SFA) participating in the federally-funded National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is eligible to submit an application for schools under their jurisdiction. A SFA is defined as a governing body which is responsible for the administration of one or more schools and has the legal authority to operate the NSLP therein.
Notice Summary The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) provides opportunities for Sponsors to apply for funding for equipment needed to: Improve the nutrition of meals served in school meal programs; and Improve the safety of food served in school meal programs; and Support the establishment, maintenance or expansion of the School Breakfast Program.
