The Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate intends to utilize robotic process automation (RPA) to closeout contracts in accordance with FAR 4.804. The contracts we have identified to be closed all have an expired period of performance, are fully invoiced with a zero-dollar balance, are firm-fixed price, and have an overall obligation that was below the simplified acquisition threshold.
These products include digital signature, business process management, including Software as a Service (SaaS) products, maintenance, support, installation, configuration, technical and other related services on the Kofax Technology platforms.
The intent is to provide the Army with transformative technology solutions while enabling cost savings throughout the Army systems’ life cycle. Critical technology focus areas include Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML); Advanced Materials; Advanced Manufacturing; Autonomy; Cyber; Electronics; Human Performance; Immersive; Network Technologies; Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT); Power; Software Modernization; and Sensors.
