The Work will include, but is not limited to: Automatic traffic counts will be taken for twenty-four (24) hours at each station in one (1) hour increments, separated by direction and given a daily total. Access to the permanent stations or data link will be provided as necessary.
The traffic count on Colquhoun Rd is less than 200 vehicles per day. The last bridge inspection (2023) noted that the structure was in “fair” condition and will be due for replacement in 2026. The Municipality of South Dundas is looking for an engineering firm to complete an engineering evaluation to assess a range of replacement alternatives and recommend the ultimate solution that should be implemented.
