ACGME Accreditation - Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This serves as a notice of intent to sole source to the Accreditation Council For Graduate Medical Education. IAW DAFI 41-117, the ACGME is the accreditation body of the Internal Medicine and General Surgery residency training programs throughout the 81 MDG/SGME. In order for 81 MDG/SGME to maintain it residency program, sponsorship and accreditation is by the ACGME is required. As such, the 81 MDG/SGME must abide by the council's rules and regulations, as well as pay assessed fees.
